Proposed Amendment

In May of 2025, The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation proposed an amendment to 67 PA. Code Chapter 175 (relating to vehicle equipment and inspection). The purpose of this amendment is to provide clear standards for the inspection of vehicles by deleting outdated procedures, modernizing language, and including provisions that reflect the modern vehicles of today and their associated equipment.
