On Saturday, August 19, 2023, the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection announced that they are seeking public comment on a proposed State Implementation Plan revision to the Basic Vehicle Inspection and Maintenance Program Certfification for the Philadelphia, PA Moderate Nonattainment Area for the 2015 Ozone National Ambient Air Quality Standard.

A public hearing will be held on September 19, 2023 at 2:00 PM at the Southest Regional Office, 2 East Main St, Norristown, PA 19401.
